Yogalates Classes

YOGALATES - with Suzanne Mon 10:45 - 11:30, Wednesday 17:15-18:15 and starting October 2107 Fridays 10:45-11:45 

 

An Intermediate/Advanced level Class based on Vinyasa Yoga, Classical Pilates and Fitness -

The First part of the Class is Vinyasa Yoga with a couple of rounds of Sun Salutations to warm up - Twists, Side Angles, Warriers, Up/Down Dogs, Hip Openers etc.  

Then it blends into Classical Pilates The Boomerang, The Saw, The Control Balance, The Rollover etc a great core and abdominal workout.

Fitness Lunges and Planks will be added into the Yoga and Pilates routine.

The Class then finishes with Yoga and Pilates inspired Stretches and Balances.

A super all angles covered class - if you like Yoga but find classes too long or too intense this is very light hearted and straight forward - or you like Pilates but find classes a bit boring, precise or too rehabilitation focused - this is Classical Pilates we move, we roll, we work our Abs hard - perhaps you like Fitness Classes but not boot camp, or sweating till you feel sick - this is a flowing and safe class - no Yoga or Pilates experience required. 

 Suzanne Young the teacher is qualified to Level 3 Pilates having started her teacher training in 2003 Suzanne has now taught Pilates matwork for over 14 years.  In 2012 Suzanne went to Bali to complete her Yoga Teacher Training and is qualified in Vinyasa Yoga (200 hrs) and Suzanne is also a Level 3 Personal Trainer. these are not drop in classes Suzanne needs to know who is coming in advance... you can book a place on line using a credit or debit card www.suzanneyoungpilates.com or contact Suzanne 465115 and arrange to pay by cash/cheque/transfer ...all mats and equipment are provided.
